CSI Exhaust Monitoring System (EMS)
All industrial conveyor ovens should operate at a small negative pressure, compared to the surrounding factory environment. This ensures that fumes from the oven do not enter the workspace.
Excessive inflow of relatively cool air from the surrounding environment often goes unnoticed and can increase oven fuel costs by as much as 20%.
Measurements made by the system’s patented sensors are used together to maintain a desired humidity set point in the oven, whilst minimising the flow rate of ambient air drawn in.
The system is configured to eliminate the requirement for power and signal wiring along the length of the oven, by use of LoRa wireless data transmission.
The required 230V AC power supply for the sensing equipment in each zone can usually be obtained locally, for example from the existing electrical supply to the exhaust fan in that zone.
